Vanilla (Nellie) has been a wonderful foundation doe.  She was the full litter sister Dale-Haven EXP Baby Ruth was the all time high selling doe at the '96 Colorama sale, selling for $4,750 as a milking yearling.  Vanilla's dam was the the National Reserve Grand Champion at 2 National shows ('97, '98) With Reserve best udder in '97 and Best udder in '98. She has also been a Top 10 doe in production and appraised as a 5 year old at FS 92 VEEE.  Vanilla was never shown because as a kid she broke her leg it has re-healed nicely and I think she would have done well in the ring.   This is the only picture of Vanilla I was able to get while she was milking.  She is pictured here at 3 1/2 years old. To our great dismay, Vanilla passed away this year in late summer. She was truly a sweet doe, who lead a happy life, to the very end. Vanilla's DHIR record is: 2-01 2 189 1850 4.1 76 3.5 64
